In addition to regular classes, Lone Star Dance Academy offers a variety of wonderful
summer programs in all locations.
The Summer Intensive is a three week academy program that provides quality dance
education that engages students in an environment that is challenging and gives
students an opportunity to improve their skills in all aspects of dance. The Summer
Intensive consists of daily dance classes that centers strictly on technique with a
performance emphasis and is geared towards ages 9 & up. The distinguished faculty comes from prestigious universities,
colleges and dance schools, as well as professional companies. Each instructor will
train and inspire all while contributing to a supportive environment. They will guide
students and empower them ever more than they ever imagined. Special fun and social
activities are planned weekly throughout the intensive. Every dancer registered will have
the opportunity to perform at the conclusion of the Intensive.
The 2012 Amarillo Summer Intensive is scheduled from July 9-28.
Rates - (10% family discount applied for two or more)
Intermediate I - $300. Meets M-F from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
Intermediate II - $400. Meets M-F from 10:00am - 3:30pm
Starting this summer, classes will be offered in all locations. This 8 week program
will meet from June 11 - August 4. Students will not only gain knowledge in technique but will
have fun making new friends before registering for dance in the fall.
