The Aspen Santa Fe Ballet thrives with dual headquarters in Aspen, Colo., and Santa Fe, N.M.  Featuring music including that of Bach and Sinatra, a repertoire rich in emotions will come alive at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts for one night only.  With the brilliance of choreographers from across the nation, Aspen Santa Fe presents an evening of pure dynamic entertainment.

 

The NEW Nutcracker    December 12-14, 2008

If you missed the premier last year or can’t wait to see it again, the all NEW Nutcracker returns for the second year, continuing to rejuvenate the long ballet tradition.  Lone Star Ballet’s amazing holiday production entertained sold-out houses in 2007 and it will be every bit as exciting this year.  Your season ticket membership guarantees you a seat to see again the new choreography, sets, costumes, lighting and illusions.  Don’t miss out and bring a friend!

 

The Little Mermaid       February 13-14, 2009

The Inland Pacific Ballet of Montclair, California is committed to producing exquisitely staged productions of full-length classic story ballets and Little Mermaid is one of their finest. Top-notch imaginative sets, gorgeous costumes, memorable characters, artistic choreography, sophisticated showmanship all come to life for a thrilling experience for audiences of all ages.  Their exuberant energy and remarkable adaptation of this beloved story will be stunning and highly entertaining!

 

TimeSteps; Rock of the Ages          April 3-4, 2009

The sights, sounds, and raw emotions from 30 years of music burst into life in this original multimedia dance program, produced by Lone Star Ballet in an event celebrating the songs that became landmarks —defining one entire generation, while driving another one crazy. From the beginnings of the rock music phenomena to the birth of music videos, this unparalleled era of musical creativity was shaped by the events of the real world, even as the music, in turn, changed a nation.

 

With TimeSteps, Lone Star Ballet and 100.9 The Eagle take its audience on a dynamic experiential journey unlike any production they’ve ever done.
